CIHR Science Café – Our Environment and Our Health: How ‘Responsibility’ Matters.

The Centre for Humanities Research and Creativity (CHRC) is pleased to invite you to an upcoming Science Café on “Our health and our environment: How does ‘responsibility’ matter?” to be held on Tuesday 15 April from 7:30-9:30 pm at the Laughing Buddha.

Panelists include science rhetorician Dr. Colleen Derkatch and feminist bioethicist Dr. Meredith Schwartz, both from Ryerson University, Toronto, and also Monique Beaudoin of the Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury.

This event is sponsored by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and it is co-organized with Science North, Interdisciplinary Humanities MA in Interpretation and Values, the Centre for Evolutionary Ecology and Ethical Conservation (CEEEC), and the University of Sudbury’s Ethics Centre.
